When I was elected to serve the people of Druridge Bay and wider Northumberland in 2013, it was one of the proudest moments of my life.

As someone raised here, I’m incredibly proud to represent this beautiful area. Druridge Bay is not just a place of natural beauty it’s home. Representing my community is a privilege I’ve never taken for granted.

​

Being elected is one thing  but delivering real results for local people is what truly matters. I believe that listening to residents and acting on their concerns is the foundation of public service. That’s why I hold regular ward meetings and work hard to resolve any local issues brought to me.

​

Since my first election, I have remained committed to working tirelessly on behalf of the people of Druridge Bay and across Northumberland.

Thanks to the continued support of local people, I was re-elected in May 2021 with an increased majority  something I am incredibly grateful for. This support is both humbling and motivating, and I will continue to work as hard as ever to repay that trust.

In addition to serving my ward, I have the honour of being Leader of the Northumberland Labour Group, and I will be leading our campaign to win control of the County Council in the forthcoming elections.

I remain fully committed to:

• Supporting local groups, individuals, schools, and businesses

• Championing our coastal and rural communities

• Representing residents with honesty, determination, and passion

 

I’ve built a reputation as a hard-working, accessible councillor, and I will continue to do everything I can to deliver for the people who put their trust in me.
